On the paths of the Frankopans

- There are 20 known castles, forts and towers which can be devided into 3 groups by territory – Krk, Vinodol and Gorski kotar. While sightseeing these historically important structures, listen to the interesting story of the long history of Hrvatsko Primorje ("Croatian Coast") through the narratives of one of the historically most important Croatian family – the Frankopans.

Did you know that the Frakopans were one of the most important noble families in the Croatian history? As holders of Croatian state and promoters of Croatian autonomy they were present during 5 centuries, up to the point in time when this family was suppressed by Austrian crown betrayal.

Of course, a life lived like that led to many curiosities and intrigues which you will find out about on this trip.
